A complete production process of MACLLROY mainly includes:

material procurement-steel plate cutting-welding-spray painting -drying-assembly-inspection

1.How does our company control the quality of material procurement?

For the parts that can be inspected on site, our company has a dedicated quality inspector, such as whether the cylinder is leaking, these can be found out on site, and only qualified parts can be put into the warehouse; for conventional parts, the monthly defective product rate should be less than five in every 1000 parts, if it exceeds, our company sign a punishment agreement with our suppliers.

2.How does MCLLROY control the quality of steel plate cutting?

MCLLRY has 2 sets large flame cutting machine, 12 large laser cutting machines and 4 small laser cutting machines.

Since worker's supervision is important as well,we arrange at least one worker on each cutting machine. In terms of quality control, we adopt a reporting mechanism. For example, if the worker responsible for cutting makes low quality parts, it will directly affect the drilling and welding procedures that follow, and subsequent workers can report a problem caused by the worker who do the previous step to the supervisor. There are penalties and rewards for them.

3.How does MCLLROY control the quality of welding?

MCLLROY now uses robot welding, there are currently 28 welding robots in total.

Manual welding requires experienced workers, and the finished product is more likely to have variation in quality. If the welding robot is well adjusted, the quality will be more stable than manual welding.

We also arrange teams for welding, mainly responsible for current adjustment, giving welding wire to the robot, manual welding for structural parts, and handling the mechanical failure. Our welding quality management also uses the reporting mechanism. In other words, if the problem arise and is found in the subsequent steps, it will be reported. If the welding team is found to be greater than 1mm, it will be reported and punished.

4.How does MCLLROY control the quality of spaying painting?

Our technicians in the painting process are supoosed to control the painting flow rate just right, without over painting, and the thickness of each surface should be balanced. In the pick up Station, there are special personnel for quality inspection of painted parts. Similarly, our factory adopts report mechanism. Subsequent assembly or factory inspection inspector find that the spray painting is unqualified and they will report it.

The workers in charge of hanging will check if the part has dust and oil, anything that will affect painting, which will be removed.

There are two worker at Station 1 to do the painting on one side of the part.

Another 2 workers at Station 2 will paint the other side, and the third worker will check if there is any spot missing and repaint.

Next is our baking room and No. 1 to No. 3 drying machines.

Pick up station workers use forklift to transfer the finished parts to the part's corresponding storage place, which is usually next to the production line.

Some factories only hire one person to take care of the spray painting to cut the cost. It is hard to control the painting quality like that.

5.How does MCLLROY control the quality of spaying painting?

We arrange seven steps for assembly.Since there are many step of assembly, report mechanism fits here the most.

For example, if the worker in the first step makes mistake, and worker in the second step finds out, the first step will be punished and the second step will be rewarded; when the worker in the fourth step finds a problem made on the first step, the workers in the first, second and third steps are punished, the workers in the fourth step will be rewarded. But if a worker commits try to gain reward by deliberately messing the job done by other workers, he will be fined $200 for the first time and expelled if it happens again.

5.How does MCLLROY control the quality of inspection?

The inspection is as important as any other procedure. Our technicians usually need to inspect 8 steps.
